Don't Follow the Crowd!
(You will not like where you end up!)
Is Jesus Christ a liar? Will you believe Him more than your favorite religious leader or religious institution?
If not, don’t bother reading the rest of this page.
If so, then consider what He says in Matthew 7:13-14:
Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Let that sink in. Now ask yourself this question: “Am I following a religion or believing in an institution that is very popular around the world?”
If your answer is “Yes,” then you are headed for destruction, according to Jesus.
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve.” (Joshua 24:15) Either serve God or a religious system!
If you are afraid to study God’s Word, you are a victim of Satan. You have a false security, called religion.
If you do not like someone questioning you about your eternal destiny, then you are insecure.
Find out what the Bible says.
Consider this also. Does your religion teach you to call your leader(s) “Father,” “Rabbi,” or “Master?”
Then you are following a false religion. Proof? Listen to what Jesus says:
Matthew 23:8-10 "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ."
Open your eyes and wake up! The clues are all in the Bible.
Jesus, as our Example, was baptized by immersion (picturing a burial) as an adult by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:1 and 13-17), who was sent from God, (John 1:6) . Baptist churches are the only churches that can trace their roots biblically and historically to Jesus and His disciples. (See Origin of Baptists article.)
However, not all Baptist churches are good or right. Many have followed modern trends and have forsaken the doctrines and standards of living that are so clear in the Bible for the sake of convenience or to increase their attendance or finances.
Any independent Baptist church that is true to the Bible will be able to teach you from the Scriptures how to be certain, based on God’s Word, that you will have eternal life with God and escape the fires of Hell.
If you do not know 100% sure and can not prove from the Bible that you will go to Heaven when you die, then you probably are not going to end up in Heaven. You need to seek out an old-fashioned, fundamental, independent, Baptist church that uses the King James version of the Bible, and ask the Pastor to help you to know from God’s Word how to be saved from going to Hell .
You don’t want to die and stand before God and hear Him say, “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels.” (Matthew 25:41)
